He's a CEO with design skills and an entrepreneurial mindset that any corporation would covet. The PayPal co-founder, only 41 years old, went on to create SpaceX, which aims, with NASA's blessing, to revolutionize space travel, and Tesla Motors, which offers its own electric-car models (like the gorgeous Roadster) but also sells technology to other auto giants. As a designer, he appreciates the importance of good user experiences and interfaces; as an executive, he's driven, passionate, and well-connected. Musk is a true innovator.
