谷歌算法升級(jí)，有誰(shuí)遭殃？

????上周，為了擺脫垃圾搜索結(jié)果的困擾，谷歌（Google）調(diào)整了其搜索算法。谷歌表示，大約12%的搜索會(huì)受到此次算法改變的影響。 ????那么這次調(diào)整對(duì)eHow等Demand Media旗下的站點(diǎn)有何影響？據(jù)Sistrix統(tǒng)計(jì)，eHow完全沒(méi)有受到影響。而且由于eHow的許多競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手，例如Mahalo等內(nèi)容農(nóng)場(chǎng)（content farm——一些網(wǎng)站通過(guò)搜索優(yōu)化技術(shù)提高排名，但其本身內(nèi)容質(zhì)量卻很差——譯注）網(wǎng)站均受到了沖擊，所以Demand Media實(shí)際上反而可能從谷歌這次調(diào)整中獲益。 ????經(jīng)過(guò)這番調(diào)整，Ehow.com的SISTRIX值甚至還得到了提升（從270升至310），關(guān)鍵字?jǐn)?shù)量也有所上升（從317,320升至324,021）。從上圖中的ehow.com搜索結(jié)果頁(yè)分布圖中，我們可以看到算法調(diào)整前后的差別。這可以算是谷歌對(duì)Demand Media網(wǎng)站內(nèi)容質(zhì)量的表態(tài)吧。 ????這對(duì)Demand而言是個(gè)好消息，但不少人曾期望谷歌徹底清除搜索結(jié)果中的低質(zhì)量?jī)?nèi)容，看來(lái)他們要失望了。 ????譯者：項(xiàng)航 |
????Last week Google (GOOG) changed its algorithm in an attempt to rid itself of spammy search results. According to Google's post on the matter almost 12% of all searches would be affected by the change. ????So how did Demand Media(DMD) sites like eHow fare? According to results from Sistrix, eHow didn't get hit at all. Furthermore, many of its content farm competitors, like Mahalo, did get hit, meaning that Demand may actually benefit from Google's changes. ????Ehow.com even gained SISTRIX value (from 270 to 310) and Keywords (from 317,320 to 324,021) during the algorithm-change. Looking at the SERP-Distribution chart from above for ehow.com, you'll notice the difference. Quite a statement from Google regarding the quality of Demand Medias' content, isn't it? ????Good news for Demand but maybe a little a bit disappointing for those who expected a wholesale removal of lower quality content. |
