谷歌（Google）即將取消其谷歌錢包（Google Wallet）產(chǎn)品的實(shí)物借記卡。谷歌錢包支付服務(wù)支持用戶之間進(jìn)行支付。

谷歌在一篇很短的博客文章中宣布，公司希望專注于個人對個人支付應(yīng)用。谷歌還有一項(xiàng)收銀臺付款服務(wù)安卓支付（Android Pay），不過該項(xiàng)服務(wù)并未使用實(shí)物卡——用戶在支付時，只需將手機(jī)放在收銀臺的終端旁邊即可，無需刷卡。

谷歌建議其之前的借記卡用戶，使用美國運(yùn)通（American Express）和Simple借記卡賬戶。

谷歌錢包借記卡將在6月底正式停用，之后進(jìn)行的任何交易將無法完成——包括重復(fù)發(fā)生的交易，但在截止日期未完成的交易將繼續(xù)完成。但這并不會影響用戶在谷歌錢包的余額。

谷歌做出這一決定的原因可能是為了削減成本，因?yàn)閾?jù)2013年的一項(xiàng)研究顯示，用戶每進(jìn)行一筆交易，谷歌都要損失信用卡手續(xù)費(fèi)。（財(cái)富中文網(wǎng)）

After over two years of the Wallet card, Google is shuttering the physical arm of its Google Wallet product, a payment service that allows users to pay each other.

In a very short blog post, Google GOOG -0.74% announced that it wanted to focus on its peer to peer payment app instead. Google still has a pay-at-the-register option called Android Pay, but this eschews the card altogether—a user simply places their phone next to a terminal at the register instead of swiping.

Google pointed its erstwhile card users to American Express and Simple debit card accounts as an alternative.

The card will officially be retired at the end of June, and any transactions after that will not be completed—including recurring transactions—although pending ones will still go through. None of this will affect your Google Wallet balance, however.

The reason behind this is likely a cost cutting measure, as Google lost money in credit card fees with every transaction, according to a 2013 study.
