2. K?T?凱勒 克萊斯勒汽車公司總裁 1935－1950年 ??? 就職業(yè)而言，凱勒是機(jī)械工出身，也是一名微觀管理者。據(jù)說，克萊斯勒的組織結(jié)構(gòu)圖像一個車輪，凱勒是車軸，但是周圍卻沒有輻條相互連接。這種結(jié)構(gòu)的設(shè)計導(dǎo)致了最嚴(yán)重的后果。由于他堅持生產(chǎn)能讓人們在車內(nèi)戴帽子的高頂汽車，公司數(shù)十年間一直在生產(chǎn)過時的汽車，盡管這些車功能不錯。1949年，他還宣布把克萊斯勒所有汽車的高度增加1.5英寸。 |
2. K.T. Keller President, Chrysler Corp. 1935-1950 ??? A machinist by trade, Keller was a micromanager at heart. Chrysler's organization chart was said to resemble a wheel with Keller at the hub but no rim that allowed the spokes to communicate. Design took the biggest hit. Because he insisted on high-roofed cars that allowed people to wear their hats inside, Keller consigned the automaker to several decades of unfashionable, though functional, autos. As late as 1949, he ordered that one-and-a-half inches be added to the height of all Chrysler vehicles. |
