美國三大汽車廠商出品的某些車型曾經(jīng)是車市上的“常青樹”，但在眼下的全球經(jīng)濟形勢下卻難逃絕種的厄運。此外，中國正在成為全球增長最快、規(guī)模最大的汽車市場，中國消費者的口味對汽車業(yè)的影響越來越大。現(xiàn)在，是美國的汽車再次進化的時候了。

飛車少年 ????肌肉車是美國獨有的傳統(tǒng)車型，不過它的后驅(qū)設計和燒油的V8發(fā)動機注定了它在海外不會暢銷，就連在美國本土也前景堪憂。這不免讓喜歡肌肉車的老派車迷痛心疾首，但尺寸縮水和發(fā)動機降缸恐怕在所難免。連《速度與激情5》（The Fast and the Furious）都成了日本車的大薈萃，那些開福特野馬（Mustang）和雪佛蘭科邁羅（Camaro）的車主們只怕也會紛紛轉(zhuǎn)向尺寸更小、發(fā)動機轉(zhuǎn)速更高的亞洲車型。 |

????Muscle cars may be a quaint American tradition, but rear-drive layouts and gas-guzzling V-8s don't play well overseas -- and would seem to have little future in the U.S. either. Traditionalists will scream, but a downsizing and de-engining seem to be in order. Look for hot-shoe Mustang and Camaro drivers to follow the lead of "The Fast and the Furious" and move into smaller, higher-revving Asian models. |
